For rod tubes >55": Limitations with the length of the leather hides are such that I need to use two pieces of leather sewn together with a French seam ~halfway down the tube (a little less than half way if you have a trunk handle).

The fly box I made for Jim Teeny's 2024 collectors edition shows the gold in all sizes; "First Series" is 12pt, all the rest in 16pt.
