I worked with a couple classic resellers on these cases who provided samples and history (thanks Ward and Nate!). They are in their final stages as I fine tune the calculations and build order.

These custom cases have all the trappings of the originals: decorative creasing throughout the body, classic "D" shape, blocking, and solid brass hardware.

Exterior:

Chestnut or Black is cowhide from Conceria Walpier in Tuscany, Italy.

British Brown is cowhide from the Hermann Oak tannery in MO, USA.

Interior:

Red Mulberry Silk Velvet from Vietnam.

I strive to craft something more than a uniform, commodity item, extruded by lifeless machines en masse for the masses.

I make everything by hand in a micro workshop in the corner of my garage. Everything requires manual work, and most products require hand stitching.
